Here’s what you’ll need:
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
1 tablespoon neutral oil
1/2 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
chopped green onions
1 tablespoon Boon sauce
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon black vinegar
1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
Pinch of brown sugar
Fistful of noodles of your choice (we used dan dan noodles)
Add garlic, gochugaru, black pepper, sesame seeds, and green onions into a heat-safe bowl.
Heat up neutral oil on a pan and pour over the ingredients. Mix together well.
Combine Boon sauce, peanut butter, soy sauce, black vinegar, brown sugar, and sesame oil.
Boil the noodles until cooked to your liking. Add a bit of pasta water to the sauce to make it a little creamier. And your cooked noodles directly into the mixture and give it a final stir.
Optional: garnish with green onions, lime wedge, and sesame seeds.
Not optional: more Boon on top. Enjoy!
